Our Story

Hello, we are Gav and Ness, a husband and wife team at your local health food store, The Source Bulk Foods Rhodes. We opened our doors on October 7, 2016 and are passionate about living a meaningful life, which is anchored in our core values of health food, bulk food, quality organic food and building strong relationships with our community. Gav left his corporate job and focuses on the business full time. Ness works behind the scenes on the business. In our spare time, we’re parents to our beautiful baby boy (Bodhi) and four furry kids: Bo, Bonnie, Leroy and Poppy. 

We saw an opportunity in Rhodes for an Australian, organic food, bulk food store and continually adapt what we offer to the needs of our community and regularly connect with our customers to seek their input. Our store is connected with local businesses, schools, parent groups, sports clothing retailers and personal trainers.

We understand quality Australian organic food are core to the heart of our community by connecting our customers with fresh and nutritious food, convenient healthy snacks and a warm, friendly shopping experience. You can speak to our staff who have a diverse range of skills and experience about your nutritional needs and ideas for great meals.
